Install
Unzip the download and drag Plink Notch into Applications.

Allow it to open
macOS says it can't verify the app. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway.

Add your OpenAI key
Paste it when asked. Get one at platform.openai.com/api-keys.

Allow access
Microphone and Speech Recognition so it can hear you. Screen Recording if you want it to look at your screen.
FAQ
Where does my data go?
Your voice goes straight to OpenAI with your own key. A screenshot is only sent when you ask about your screen. Nothing goes to us.
What does it cost?
The app is free. OpenAI bills your key, and short answers usually cost cents.
Can it get to know me?
Yes. Paste what ChatGPT knows about you into Context… in the menu-bar icon, and it answers in your style.
What can I say besides questions?
“Louder”, “quieter” and “turn off”.
Which keyboards work?
The talk key is ^, top-left on German keyboards. US keyboards aren't supported yet.
